3D Secure

3D Secure payments are covered with an additional level of security and ensures that online shopping experience is protected by security standards Mastercard SecureCode and Verified by Visa. Typically, you direct the customer to an authentication page on their bank’s website, and they enter a password associated with the card or a code sent to their phone. The Strong Customer Authentication regulation in Europe requires the use of 3D Secure for card payments. 3D Secure is optional in other regions but can still be used as a tool to reduce fraud.

Sensitive Data

All card numbers are encrypted. The GDPR increases information requirements for banks and TPPs, such as having to provide customers with the legal basis for the processing and transfers of personal data.
